Sage Handisoft has released a critical update which requires action prior to the expiry of a digital certificate on 16th March 2017. Please refer to the extract below.
The PLS System (SBR) utilise digital SSL/TLS certificates when a connection is established between a software product and the ATO. The current annual digital certificate expires on the 16th March 2017 whereby after the expiry date a successful connection to the ATO via SBR cannot be made. The ATO have issued the latest annual digital certificate and to ensure continuity of the SBR lodgement service, installation of the latest HandiTax release is required. On installation, the latest certificate will be installed ensuring the continuing ability to utilise the ATO SBR services via HandiTax.

In all other circumstances we will attend to the update on your behalf. We will lodge a Paid-SupportĀ ticket on your behalf for running and testing the update.
